PICEA is set to be launched during October 2008 by Sir John Houghton FRS CBE, past co-chair of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Scientific Assessment. He is also the founder of the John Ray Initiative and sits on the UK Council of Reference for A Rocha.
